Tasman Field Summer Graduation

Our summer graduation at Tasman Field celebrates the newest holders of the Private Spaceflight Licence and the latest Flight Instructor Rating graduates. It is the most joyful day of the academy year.

Principal Sabine Aalto presents licences, Grace Amoah welcomes the new instructors to the profession, and Tevita Fonua shares stories from this season's first solos. The guest speaker is Kaito Brennan, a First Solo graduate who now teaches the Tempest Ice Runner rating at Enceladus, on how a beginner's licence can lead to the outer system.

Families are warmly welcome. The ceremony ends with a formation flypast of Sparrow Trainers.

Refreshments are served on the parade ground after the ceremony, and new licence holders may take family members for a short look inside the Sparrow cockpit. Graduates are reminded to bring their logbooks for their instructors' final signatures.
