Passenger Liner Command Information Evening

Thinking of moving to the left-hand seat of a Halcyon Starliner? This evening at the Olympus Ring passenger terminal is for experienced first officers considering Passenger Liner Command.

Training captain Emeka Nwosu will describe the 24-week course, the full-crossing command check ride and what changes when 1,200 passengers and 64 crew depend on your decisions. Director of Admissions Marisol Huamán will explain the strict entry requirements and the sponsorship arrangements with passenger lines that fund most places.

Bring questions and your logbook. Light refreshments will be served overlooking the departure docks.

Recent graduates of the course will share their experience of the selection process and the 160 hours of line training in the left-hand seat. Representatives from passenger lines that sponsor places will be present and willing to talk about their nomination processes.
