Your route to the Basilisk Salvage Tug Type Rating

Many pilots ask how to obtain the Basilisk Salvage Tug Type Rating. It is issued by the Halcyon Type Certification Office, co-signed by the IFSB in the type rating category. Scope: Pilot or co-pilot of the Basilisk Salvage Tug for capture, de-spin and towing of derelicts and debris.

Before your check ride you will need: Commercial Pilot Licence (Orbital), 250 hours as pilot in command, 80 simulator hours, Live capture of a tumbling target and Tow-and-release check ride.
