What it takes to earn the Gas Giant Atmospheric Flight Endorsement

Holders of the Gas Giant Atmospheric Flight Endorsement, granted by the IFSB, on recommendation of Lumen Pilot Academy in the endorsement category, are certified as follows: Atmospheric skimming passes at Jupiter and Saturn in the Nimbus Gas Skimmer.

Requirements are set out in full in the official standard: Commercial Pilot Licence (Orbital), 500 hours as pilot in command, Radiation-dose clearance, 140 simulator hours and Full-depth scoop check ride.
