Thabo Sithole

Thabo Sithole is Lumen's chief examiner, a designated IFSB examiner who leads a team of 22 assessors conducting check rides across every course. He is responsible for keeping examinations fair, consistent and independent from the instructors who taught each student.

Thabo flew Valkyrie and Cascade crews before becoming an examiner. He hosts check ride days across our campuses and is known for his clear explanation of what examiners actually look for.

Thabo publishes an anonymised summary of check ride outcomes each year so that students and instructors can see the most common reasons for failure. He also trains new examiners at partner academies across the inner system.
