Pacifica Launch Services
Pacifica Launch Services flies Wren Microlifters and Kestrel shuttles between Earth's Asia-Pacific launch sites, Luna and L5 Lagrange Station. Its cadet scheme with Lumen is the most complete in our partnership network.
Each year Pacifica sponsors 14 places on First Solo: Foundation Flight, six on Shuttle Operations for cadets who pass their Private Spaceflight Licence, and three on the Flight Instructor Certificate for experienced pilots who will train its own crews.
Cadets complete the full path from complete beginner to commercial pilot in about seven months of training, then fly Wren hops before upgrading to the Kestrel.
Pacifica cadets are selected through an open aptitude test with no prior flying experience required.
Pacifica is also one of our most active partners on the instructor side. Its three sponsored Flight Instructor Certificate places go to senior Kestrel and Wren pilots who then run the company's internal recurrent training, using the same debrief model taught at Tasman Field. The firm hosts a cadet open evening twice a year at its Asia-Pacific launch site, and Lumen admissions staff attend both.
