Aurelian Voyages

Aurelian Voyages is a passenger line based in Europe, flying Halcyon Starliners and Kestrel shuttles on routes from Earth to Luna, Mars and the Olympus Ring. It is one of the two largest sponsors of our Passenger Liner Command course.

The line sponsors six seats per year on Passenger Liner Command, selecting senior first officers who have flown with Aurelian for at least five years. It also funds six places on Shuttle Operations for new pilots who will start on its Kestrel feeder services.

Several Aurelian captains serve as training captains on the command course, and line checks are flown on scheduled Aurelian crossings with paying passengers aboard.

For new pilots, an Aurelian-sponsored Shuttle Operations seat is a common first step on the long path to the left-hand seat of a Starliner.

Aurelian's senior captains sit on the selection panel for its sponsored command places, and candidates are interviewed on judgement and leadership as much as flying. The line also offers a structured mentoring programme so that junior Kestrel pilots can shadow Starliner crews on Earth-to-Mars crossings. It recruits at our lunar graduation every season and typically offers positions to a quarter of each Shuttle Operations cohort.
