Your route to the Tempest Ice Runner Type Rating

Many pilots ask how to obtain the Tempest Ice Runner Type Rating. It is issued by the Halcyon Type Certification Office, co-signed by the IFSB in the type rating category. Scope: Any of the three pilot seats on the Tempest Ice Runner, including ice loading at Enceladus and long-haul water runs.

Before your check ride you will need: Commercial Pilot Licence (Orbital), 600 hours multi-crew experience, Nuclear thermal propulsion module, 150 simulator hours and Laden Saturn-to-Belt check run.
