Andes Orbital Couriers operates the largest civilian fleet of Aurora Mk II express couriers, delivering urgent parcels, medical cargo and legal documents from South America to Luna, Mars and Ceres. It is the leading sponsor of our Courier & Interceptor Rating.

Every year Andes funds nine seats on the course, spread across both annual intakes, for pilots with at least 400 hours as pilot in command. Sponsored pilots commit to three years of courier service and follow strict rest rules developed with our instructors.

The firm's operations team worked with Oskar Brandt on the fatigue research that reshaped the single-pilot ground school.

Andes reports that pilots trained at Lumen have the lowest incident rate in its fleet.

The firm runs its own assessment day before nominating candidates, including a fatigue-awareness interview and a short simulator session. Sponsored pilots are based at the company's L5 hub and fly express runs to Luna, Mars and Ceres on rosters built around the rest rules taught in the course. Andes also funds a recurrent simulator check every six months, delivered at our Kepler Yards simulator hall.
