Hamid Rostami

Dr Hamid Rostami leads flight medicine at Lumen, overseeing aeromedical certification for every student and the radiation-dose clearances required for gas giant and outer-system courses. He is based at Shackleton Base with clinics at the Olympus Ring and Enceladus Station.

Hamid has studied long-duration crew health for two decades and supports the Medevac Flight Operations course as flight physician. He regularly speaks on fitness to fly and fatigue.

Hamid is also the academy's contact for applicants with medical questions, and he encourages anyone unsure about their fitness to book an informal consultation before applying. He speaks regularly at outer-system safety events.
