Callum McBride

Callum McBride runs Salvage Tug Operations on the Lumen Orbital Range near L5. He worked for 12 years as a Basilisk Salvage Tug pilot for an Oceania-based salvage firm, clearing derelicts from busy lanes around Earth and Luna.

Callum designed the range's tumbling-target exercises using retired hulls, and his rule of thumb that a tether should never feel tight is quoted by every graduate. He leads the yearly check ride week for salvage trainees.

Callum is the academy's expert on tether loads and has helped salvage firms revise their capture procedures after incidents. He serves as a safety observer on the orbital range during every live capture and rarely misses a session.
