Your route to the Atlas Heavy Freighter Type Rating

Many pilots ask how to obtain the Atlas Heavy Freighter Type Rating. It is issued by the Halcyon Type Certification Office, co-signed by the IFSB in the type rating category. Scope: Captain, first officer or systems officer on the three-pilot flight deck of the Atlas Heavy Freighter.

Before your check ride you will need: Commercial Pilot Licence (Orbital), 600 hours multi-crew experience, 160 simulator hours, 110 flight hours including a laden cargo run and Crew check ride.
